Young's Day

184 years old but still Young’s at heart

Every September, on the third Thursday of the month, Young’s Pubs celebrate their birthday.

Founded in 1831 by Charles Young and Anthony Bainbridge on purchase of the Ram Brewery in Wandsworth, London. Young’s Pubs are still going strong, offering real ale, great food and a warm welcome in over 150 of their pubs across London and surrounding areas.

On this day, Young’s celebrate their rich history and the great and good of British pubs - ‘the original social network’. The pubs don’t belong to the company; they belong to places, local people, and to tradition – they are at the heart of local communities.

Each year, Young’s will celebrate this day with a series of birthday bashes in true British pub fashion; with music, food, birthday cakes and ales. This year guests can also enjoy birthday burgers from the recently launched Burger Shacks alongside beers.

In addition, Young’s will get the party started with special offers and complimentary pints in top publications from the Evening Standard to Time Out, as well as for all members of their database.

Get involved, and share what your favourite Young’s pub means to you, by creating your own videos, uploading photos and sharing updates with #YoungsDay, and most importantly head to your favourite Young’s pub.
