Feeling Stressed? Let it all out on Stress Down Day 3 February 2012

3 February 2012 marks Stress Down Day organised by the Samaritans.
The aim of the campaign aim is to raise awareness of the effects of stress in the workplace and it is about helping us take better care of our emotional well-being.
And the purpose of the day is to raise as much money for the charity to help provide people throughout the UK with emotional support, no matter how big or small their problem.
We've all felt stressed at some point in our lives, and Samaritans are contacted every 6 seconds by people who need their help to deal with this difficult emotion.
Whether it's stress in the workplace or at home, all the money raised goes towards manning Samaritans' 24 hour helpline.

There are also loads of tips on how to get support if you are feeling stressed, and with Samaritans having been offering great advice throughout their 55 year history, you can be sure you will find someone willing to listen and help you out.
Many people have been contacting the Samaritans with thier concerns about work, pay and pensions. Samaritans are there to offer emotional support to anyone who needs it. Samaritans are completely confidential and they are urging people to contact them rather than suffer and worry alone.
There's always someone at the end of the phone so don't be afraid to pick it up, clear your thoughts and de-stress on this year's Stress Down Day!
